Why we recommend it
Maravella sits in Pinedo, south of València, between the market gardens and the Albufera. The idea is a traditional farmhouse brought up to date: paella valenciana and arròs del senyoret made with market fish, vegetables from their own garden, grilled fish, aged meat and cocktails to stretch the afternoon out.
It is the one we suggest when the plan is a long lunch somewhere beautiful — a company lunch, a celebration, a group visiting from abroad who want proper Valencian rice. It is a quarter of an hour by car from the centre, so allow for that.
New this season: they now also open Thursday to Saturday evenings, until 01:00. Until now they only served lunch.

Frequently asked questions
Can you have dinner at Maravella?
Yes. From this season they open Thursday to Saturday evenings until 01:00. On every other day service is at lunchtime only.
Is it far from the centre?
It is in Pinedo, about fifteen minutes by car. If your group is coming from outside the city, sort the transport in advance.
